A truly beautiful book

This is the most beautiful book. I love the Ann Cleeves Shetland books and this book about the Shetland Isles where they are set is accompanied by the most beautiful photographs. I was so delighted with it, I bought one for my friend, who also enjoys Ann Cleeves' Shetland books.

A factual look at Shetland, with a personal commentary by Ann Cleeves, and some stunning photos. This is an excellent book for anyone who has visited Shetland or thinking of doing so this is a beautiful visual introduction to this wonderful part of the world.

Gorgeous & informative.

Lovely book. Lots of information & beautiful pictures. I love this type of book-also recommend Peter Mays Hebrides. Maybe a Vera Stanhope Northumbria next? I have been to the Shetland Islands but after reading this book I intend to go back.
