Poor Reproduction

This is not a review of the two essays, but of this particular edition. There is a "Printing Statement" on one of the title pages stating: "many of the pages may be hard to read due to the blurring of the original text, possible missing pages, missing text and other issues beyond our control". Fair enough, as this is a reproduction. However, on some pages the first character on each line is either incomplete or missing entirely, and on other pages the last character on each line suffers the same fate. This looks to me like a scanning issue, and nothing to do with the original text. Also, despite the description stating that the book is 108 pages, only 23 pages are of the original text, with a further three title pages. All the other pages are blank!.
